We hear more and more about super-foods, but many people do not even know what this is really about. Superfoods are basically foods that are much richer in vitamins, minerals, nutrients, electrolytes and phytonutrients but also much poorer in calories than any other usual foods.

In another dictionary, the term "a super nutritious, rich food full of vitamins, minerals, dietary fibers, antioxidants and / or phytonutrients" is described. T However, the widespread use of the word was only started at the end of the '90s when an article appeared in the American Nature Nutrition magazine with the term superfood.
