Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists 1 添好运点心专门店

Tim Ho Wan is a famous Hong Kong dim sum restaurant chain that have many locations around the world and even one at New York city! Several of its stores are honored as Michelin one star restaurants and it is called the cheapest Michelin star restaurant. What is more attracting besides the price is that several categories of their dim sums are TRUELLLY wonderful!!!!! And I will just briefly try to present them since I honestly think words cannot describe the tasty of some of the meals.

CONGEE WITH PORK AND PRESERVED EGG Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
金银蛋瘦肉粥 推荐指数三颗星

Forgive me that the pic dose not really looks good cuz what they provide is a middle size bowl and we shared it into own bowls and had stirred it. The most interesting thing about preserved eggs after I went to HK would be that they named the black preserved eggs and the white salty duck eggs as "gold and silver eggs" which is a pretty beautiful name I guess. And this congee is one type that I make it at home but also order it frequently from restaurants since I do think that some restaurants have special recipe for this congee or otherwise I cannot understand why the homemade taste are so different than theirs... Speaking back about this from Tim Ho Wan, this would be one that I could never make it my own. Besides the just degree of thickness, it also makes the rice melted into the congee so it is super smooth and tasty. Order it just never get wrong. On top of the pic is the sticky rice in lotus leaf that will be strongly introduced next.
原谅我这个照片看起来并不怎么美味 因为端上来的是还挺多的一碗所以和朋友决定分着吃 无可避免的舀了一部分出来的时候就搅混了 到香港以后关于皮蛋瘦肉粥最有意思的就是他们会把皮蛋和咸鸭蛋放在一起叫金银蛋 不管是炒菜还是煮粥 我觉得这个名字还是很美丽的哈哈哈 皮蛋瘦肉粥是一道我也在家里自己做也总在餐馆点的粥 因为怎么熬都熬不到有些餐馆的味道让我总怀疑做这个是有些特殊秘密食谱的 添好运的就是其中之一啦 除了黏稠程度刚刚好之外 粥米炖出来同时到了一部分融化进粥里所以口感特别的顺滑然后也香浓 一个怎么点都不会错的主食 图片上部是古法糯米鸡 现在来着重介绍一下这个

STICKY RICE IN LOTUS LEAF Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
古法糯米鸡 推荐指数四颗星
The inner ingredients are so full! Chicken, bamboo, mushroom, and other I cannot remember but the mix with the fresh smell of lotus leaf realllllly attracts me. Personally I do not like salty sticky rices previously but only treat it as some for sweet desert, but this sticky rice with chicken just make everything so right and wonderful! Don't have north and south difference in taste anymore but enjoy everything with good taste~
这个内馅真的大粒大粒的让人十分满足 我只记得里面有嫩嫩的肌肉 笋丁 蘑菇了 但整体加上荷叶清香味真的特别吸引我 原来我是一个绝对的甜党 糯米是用来在甜品里面用的要吃甜味的 但这家的糯米鸡真的让咸糯米也那么完美! 真的不需要再来南北口味大对比了 只要好吃啥都吃lol

STEAMED SHRIMP DUMPLINGS (HAR GOW) and STEAMED RICE ROLL WITH BBQ PORK Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
晶莹鲜虾饺和蜜味叉烧肠 推荐指数四颗星

I just put these two classical dim sum together and they are again dishes that you will never order it wrong.
The outer layer of their shrimp dumplings is not sticky nor extremely transparent, but it doesn't impact the beauty of the dumplings as well as the freshness. Same as the rice roll, usually I would like to pour a lot soy sauce over to add taste to the tasteless outer rice roll(literally turn the white color of rice roll into dark), yet luckily no need to add flavor for this one. The BBQ pork is rich in flavor and only a little soy sauce together is enough to generate the best taste of rice rolls. Not gonna disappoint u!

虾饺和肠粉就一起说了 同样也是点它们不会出错的菜~ 他们家虾饺外层皮不粘也没有做的特别透明 但是还是看起来挺漂亮的味道也还是鲜的不行 肠粉也是 一般我吃肠粉真的是需要大量的酱油把肠粉都染黑到不行 但添好运的内陷就蛮有味道的了 加一点点酱油就能激发出特别美好的搭配美味 不让人失望~

BAKED BBQ PORK BUNS Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!
酥皮叉烧包 推荐指数五颗星!!

One of their signature. This is not only a MUST HAVE but also the reason for a trip to this restaurant! I have to praise this food innovation, it is like a mix of two traditional and famous Cantonese food : pineapple bun and BBQ pork bun, and this combination is sooooooooo sooooo clever and tasty!!! The crispy outer layer meditates the oily sweetness of BBQ pork, and the buns are just super soft. Taste it when it is still hot and only one small bite will make the inner pork leak out beautifully. Because of my love to this restaurant during this year's spring festival in Macau I took two hours to take my parents for travel just for this, the food is good enough that I just want to advocate for it and advertise it to everyone😂

这道是他们家特色和招牌 不仅是一个必点也是一个尝试添好运的原因 真的 真的 太太太太好吃了 我真的觉得这个创造太聪明 像是把菠萝包和普通叉烧包结合在一起 外面的酥壳很大程度的中和了只吃叉烧包的时候它的内馅带来的甜腻感 同时这个包又特别的蓬松和软 咬一小口内陷的小叉烧就会慢慢流出来 看着真的觉得美貌美味呀 吃完这道以后惊为天人 春节强行拖上爹妈花了俩小时在澳门一定要找到这家带他们吃一次 真的太好吃了我成了它的自来水军就想给它打广告叫大家都尝一下哈哈哈
