This is our first day in Cambodia after one and half hour flight from Kuala Lumpur to Siem Reap. The air ticket is quite cheap, it cost around USD30 for each of us. I wonder how this airline can make profit with such a low ticket price, but its good bargain fo us to experience new cultures.

As soon as we arrived at the airport, we were picked up by a guy with his Lexus SUV, a car that is so common on the street of Cambodia despite its poverty stricken community. Luxury cars is so common in this country that even a Roll Royce is planning to open it first showroom in the capital of Phnom Penh. From that luxury car, we were sent to a budget hostel that cost us around USD1 a day.

On the evening we strolled along the street of Siem Reap city centre and very surprised to see lots of exotic snacks made from insects. No one of use dare to try this national Cambodian delicacy as it looks horrific and unappealing to us.

If you are wonder how the creatures look like in a ready-to-eat snack, here are some photos for you to enjoy.
