Today I share with you all of China classic dish: Braised Pork.
Braised pork is a classic dish in China, it is rich in fat but not greasy, soft and sweet. It is widely spread throughout China, it is a famous popular dish, which is very suitable for the elderly and children.
Braised pork is rich in high-quality protein, collagen and essential fatty acids, and provides heme (organic iron) and cysteine which promotes iron absorption, which can improve iron deficiency anemia, It has nourishing kidney and nourishing blood, nourishing yin and moistening beauty to maintain the elasticity of the skin.
Ingredients:
1: pork (500 g); 2: shallot (20 g); 3: ginger (12 g); 4: red dates (1 g);
5: fragrant leaves (0.3 g); 6: octagonal (0.5 g); 7: salt (4 g); 8: soy sauce (15 g);
9: rock sugar (15 g); 10: cooking wine (25 g); 11: oyster sauce (10 g); 12: vegetable oil (15 g).
Step:
1: Clean the pigskin and cut the pork into 5 cm squares;
2: Pour the vegetable oil into the pot and heat it to 50%, then add ginger and pork, stir fry for 2 minutes on medium heat;
3: Pour water and rock sugar into the pot and stir fry for 1 minute;
4: Pour the vegetable oil into the pot and heat it, then add the fragrant leaves, star anise, shallot and pork, stir fry for 1 minute on medium heat;
5: Then pour red dates, cooking wine, rock sugar water, oyster sauce, soy sauce and salt in the pot, and cook for 90 minutes on low heat.
