The Quiz Night

On any normal night, the trip from the city of Adelaide to my home should only take around 30 minutes. Tonight, my friends got caught in some insane traffic and it took them an hour and half! Not sure what was going on, but I did hear a lot of fire sirens and ambulances. Be careful on the roads people.

Anyway, we managed to get to the Angle Vale Tavern with plenty of time to order a meal before the 7:30pm quiz start time.

The Rack Of Ribs

So, so tender!

We had decided to cash in the $100 worth of vouchers we'd won previously and because of the erratic food quality at the Tavern, we decided that if we ordered three of the same meal would mean less of the chance that they'd get them wrong. To explain, they rotate the chefs there and when it's the shift of one of the good ones, the food is simply divine.
You wouldn't eat anywhere else. The other week... not so much. You can tell if it's crowded or not how good the food will be strangely enough.

Tonight was one of the 'good chef nights' and the rack of ribs we had ordered were what I now am calling 'Steemit worthy'.

You know when the food sooo good that you just have to tell the world about it?

That's what this meal was. The meat was about to fall off of the fork! So tender, and instead of salads they had added coleslaw with the chips, which is a weird choice, but it was incredible.

I managed to get a quick shot of the rack of ribs before the quiz started and I had to put away my phone and start answering questions. No cheating allowed!

So, yeah it's a little out of focus, but you can see how big it was.

The Quiz

The quiz went well and we ended up coming down to a tie-breaker question with another team. The question was "How many countries surround mainland Spain?"

They guessed 3.
We guessed 4.

We won!

There was some debate about whether Gibraltar was technically a country (it's a British territory, technically, but that's a bit petty).

So, another $50 voucher went to our team and a great night was had by all.
