Fresh breakfast vegetable salad with yogurt sauce

Hello and welcome to another steemit post from Simple Recipes.

Today I will be writing about a light and easy recipe that is Breakfast Vegetable salad with yogurt.

I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients:

3 Red tomatoes

2 Large cucumbers

1/2 cup cooked chick peas

1 Green bell pepper

1 Red bell pepper


Sauce:


1 Green onion finely chopped with green leaves

1 cup yogurt

1/2 cup mayonnaise 

3 tablespoon Lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 1/2 teaspoon oregano

1 1/2 teaspoon Basil 

1/8 teaspoon white pepper


Method:

1. Bring a big shallow serving plate.

2.Slice the tomatoes into thin slices.

3. Peel the cucumbers in strips and slice into thin slices.

4.Cut the peppers into small cubes.

5. Arrange the tomatoes, chick peas, cucumbers, and peppers in the serving plate.

6. Add the sauce ingredients in a deep bowl, the green onions, yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil and white pepper. Beat with a hand beater or use a fork until it is well combined. Pour over the salad and serve immediately.
