Food Waste International #3 Avocado from Chile
In this new Food Waste International series of posts, I want to highlight the crazy waste of food and resources the global food industry is generating, everyday. Enormous amounts of food, produced on one continent are shipped over the globe to end up as waste. All in the name of more choice and endless consumption.
This bag of perfectly eatable and still fresh Avocado from Chile, was distributed via a company in France to end up as food waste in Sweden. Rescued 2018.12.28.
