I started cooking for my siblings when I was 10 or 11 as I am the eldest. I took a class with a chef when I was 12 and learned my first "fancy" from scratch dinner. Poulet Cordon Bleu. One thing leads to another. I work a restaurant and another and another. I heard something that stuck with me as I developed skill in fine dining. You eat more times than you tie your shoes each day. Most competent people learn how to tie their shoes. Cooking? Not so much. Why not?
I think an excellent conduit for teaching children. Would be "Hello Fresh" (also adult ed. and re-ed.)
Healthy convenient food! They deliver healthy portions of quality food to your door. Comes with only what you need. No waste. Best of all! Each meal comes with a comprehensive cooking guide. Easy and fun for the kids. Connect picky eaters to their food? Maybe.
I came across this meal planning company through a youtuber "smarter everyday". He does have a promo code on his channel if your interested. Check out their Fb page

I come from generations of educators and curriculum writers. I really, see the value in a product like this. Nutrition is one of the most vital skills we can pass along to our children.

Nothing beats a home cooked meal! And speaking from experience yours is some of the best in town!! I love your passion for healthy eating, and preparing delicious meals!!

It is actually quite astonishing how many people adults and kids alike who do not know how to cook! Some people think opening a box of KD is cooking, but its not. Cooking is about creating something beautiful and delicious, so much more than boiling water.
I think I am going to start cooking lessons for some kids I know, it could be a vital difference in their future life!
