Lobster for Christmas and New Year - How to Cook

With the price of bitcoin going up so much in 2017, it was time to get accustomed to high end food as crypto holders transition into a world of wealth.

I bought two lobsters that were sourced directly from the fisherman. Here is one of them.

The elastic bands are to stop the lobster from giving you a powerful nip on the finger. They can be removed while cooking to ensure they do not have an effect on the taste of the lobster.


The can be cooked alive or you can put a knife through their head to kill them if you don't want them to "suffer".
They were cooked using 150gr of salt for 6 minutes. One lobster would be cooked for minutes before taking it out the pot and putting the next one in. The first lobster would then be put back into the pot for a further 6 minutes of cooking time. This step would then be repeated for the second lobster.


After cooking, the lobster has a brilliant orange colour to it. Let the lobster cool for 15 minutes before breaking the shell and removing the meat to be served.
