Ingredients
Two & half cups Wheat flour or white ata
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Water
Directions:
1Boil water in a sauce pan and add salt. When the water starts boiling, add flour and keep stirring. Make sure the water isn’t boiled long, otherwise the dough will be too hard for making the breads. When the flour is mixed well with water, turn off the flame. Leave it for some times until it gets enough cold to knead. Knead the dough till it becomes smooth. You can add a very little amount of water if the dough feels too dry or hard. Again if it feels too sticky or wet, you can add some more flour. Now make small balls.
2Spread some flour on a plain surface, take a ball and roll it to make round shape by your hand. Now flatten the ball as thin as you can by a roller. This is a bit hard to flatten the roti into uniformly round shape that needs practice.
3Take a fry pan or tawa on medium heat. Place a roti on it and wait for 30 seconds. Then flip it to the other side and wait for another 30 seconds. When some brown burnt spots are appeared on the roti and swelled, it’s done. Serve warm for better taste with meat, egg or vegetables.
