A healthy lifestyle schedule;
● Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Ensure you eat healthy foods always. Eat 80% protein and 20% carbohydrates. Include fruits alongside your breakfast.
● Between your meals eat fruits also.
● Drink 2-3 liters of water throughout the day.
●. Stay active.
●. Sleep for at least 8 hours every night.

if you intend to lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle, the following should be a great part of your meals

■Proteins:
Foods such as Eggs, Fish (tuna, salmon, sardines), Beans, Skinless chicken, Lean meat, Greek Yogurt, Soy Milk etc should be a part of your meals. Research shows that a high protein diet aids weight loss as foods rich in protein has a high nutrient content, low saturated fat, and calories. Also, eggs and beans tend to make you feel full so you eat smaller amounts of food which also promotes weight loss.

■ Whole Grains;
Such as brown rice, whole oat, and wheat are loaded with fiber and a good amount of protein. Oats have soluble fibers that increase satiety and improve metabolic health. A healthy metabolism is necessary if you intend to burn fat.

You can never go wrong with fruits. Fruits have weight loss friendly properties. Most have high water content, nutrients, healthy calories, low carb, and fiber. They are ideal for a mid-day snack and also can be turned into fresh juice and smoothie to suit your taste. Fruits are also known to help with a sweet tooth.

■ Leafy Greens and Vegetables:
Greens and vegetable such as broccoli, spinach, cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes, are low in calories and carbohydrate but loaded with fiber. Including Leafy greens in your diet is a way to increase the amount of food you consume while keeping the number of calories you consume low. Leafy greens are also nutritious, high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Replace oils with healthy oils such as coconut oils, avocado oil, and olive oils. These are great for cooking and frying when necessary. Coconut oils are also known to reduce belly fat.

■Potatoes and plantain are also great when it comes to eating to lose weight. A combination of these foods alongside vegetables offers an ideal meal high in nutrients and low in calories. It is important that you boil or roast your potatoes and plantain. Avoid deep fried foods as much as you can.
