CSA pickup July 28

Our CSA is into full gear right now, churning out tasty veggies and melons by the box-load.
This week's new treat, grape tomatoes!

These are just coming into season in our climate zone, and I'm stoked. Best part of the year, by far.

Also in the haul: cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapeño peppers, zucchini, watermelon, galia melon, sweet corn, eggplant, shallots, carrots, and cut-your-own fresh herbs.

And these for the wife.

Are you a gardener or homesteader? There's a growing community of homesteaders on steemit.

Not really either yet. I'm planning a couple self-watering containers for next summer and have a few flower containers now to go on our apartment patio. Right now we just buy a share at a local farm we've been dealing with for the past few years.

That's a nice bit of veggies! The flowers are really nice!

Thanks! We get to pick them every week. A little bit of yarrow and snapdragon.
