¡AREPAS!

in #food6 years ago

Good evening friends of Steemit, today in the morning I got up and when I was having breakfast (Arepas) I thought about doing a post with the different types of Arepa that there are in Venezuela.
There is no need to explain what an Arepa is, with the migration of so many Venezuelans in search of a better future in another country, and we're all clear about what an Arepa is, but for those who still don't have the pleasure of eating one, since an Arepa is a Venezuelan meal prepared with corn flour pre-cooked in a circular and flat way.

It's a breakfast, and dinner for all Venezuelans, you'll never hear a Venezuelan say "I'm tired of eating Arepa".

types:

  •  Arepa VIUDA (widow): It's the Arepa that has NO padding.
  •  Arepa CATIRA (blonde): Arepa stuffed with chicken, and yellow cheese.
  •  Arepa DOMINÓ: Arepa filled with black beans, and white cheese.
  •  Arepa LLANERA(plainsman): Arepa stuffed with meat cut into thin strips (roasted meat) Sliced tomatoes, avocado and Guyanese cheese.
  •  Arepa con PABELLÓN(pavilion): Arepa stuffed with mechada meat, slices, and black beans.
  •  Arepa PATAPATA: Arepa filled with black beans, avocado, and yellow cheese.
  •  Arepa PELÚA(shaggy): Arepa stuffed with yellow cheese, and roasted meat.
  •  Arepa de PERICO(parakeet): Arepa with egg scramble, tomato, onion and salt.
  •  Arepa de PERNIL(leg): Arepa with baked pork, tomato and mayonnaise.
  •  Arepa REINA PEPEADA(queen pepiada): Arepa with chicken salad, mayonnaise and avocado.
  •  Arepa SIFRINA: Arepa with the same ingredients as the PEPIED QUEEN but with grated yellow cheese.
  •  Arepa RUMBERA(partying): Arepa with baked pork and grated yellow cheese.
  •  Arepa ROMPE COLCHÓN(break bed): Arepa with various seafood mix with the vinaigrette.

The Arepa can be filled with whatever you want, you just have to have imagination and depend on your tastes!

Without further ado, I say goodbye.
