I have been living in japan for the past 11 years and although it is a country which is infamous for its working condition, I as an Asian really enjoy the culture of the food in Tokyo. Not only because I can eat real Japanese food and Chinese food which I like the most, but also I can eat any country's food in the world. Tokyo is a window which brings me to other mysterious realm of food. So in the point view of myself, I want to introduce some food to you guys about what you should not miss when you visit tokyo in terms of food. let's jump into it. Today I am going to explain about Ramen.

Disclaimer: Because I am a poor guy with little money. So I will just introduce some reasonable food with great tastes. If you are finding the best food with higher price this may not fit your taste.

  1. Ramen

Ramen is the name of a good which is originally from China. and the Chinese name is Lamian. I do not know the exact reason why the world famous way of calling it Ramen, but I guess the reason is because Japanese just arranged the way to make Lamian which is originally from China and did so well.

  • Tori ramen(the soup is based on chicken)

the photo up there is called tori ramen. Tori means chicken in japanese. So basically this ramen is made from chicken. For people like me love chicken soup a lot, this is so amazing a ramen to eat when you are hungry. And it contains a lot of nutrients for the goodness of your  body. But for girls, just be careful with the calories you take when you eat this Ramen.

  • Niboshi Ramen(the soup is based on fish)

Noboshi Ramen is also one of my favourite kind of Ramen. I used to dislike the taste of it because it really depends on the Ramen shop and how they make the Ramen. In some cases, I do not like to eat it at all. But this shop I am introducing is an exception. Hope if you visit Tokyo you should try it with a lot of Onions on it(plus 50 yen). It is a masterpiece of Noboshi Ramen. I finished it like this, lol. ↓

  • Jiro Ramen

If you ask me what you can not miss in tokyo if you like Ramen a lot as a guy. One I must mention is Jiro ramen. It is the so callled guy's Ramen, even though sometimes there are a few girls appear in the shop. Jiro Ramen is those kind of Ramen if you eat once, you will get addicted to it. With that huge Volume and with the spicy taste of garlic and ginger. It will be a paradise if it is your taste! try it once at least to check if it is your taste.

tip: remember to reply :

"ninniku(garlic), shouga, yasai mashi"

 when the waitor ask you

"niniku iremasuka"(do you want some garlic?)

actually he is asking what do you want to put inot your Ramen not only about garlic.

If you cannot figure out how to answer it. Just say:

"zenbunose" (put in everything!)

It will be fine. ENJOY!

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day there!
