Poulet à la Reine

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned.
  4. Add the wine, chicken broth, cream, mushrooms, carrots, and parsley. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the chicken in a baking dish and pour the sauce over it.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Serve hot.
