Today on our dinner table: poulet à la reine 🍢
Poulet à la Reine
Ingredients:
- 1 chicken
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced carrots
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned.
- Add the wine, chicken broth, cream, mushrooms, carrots, and parsley. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish and pour the sauce over it.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve hot.
