Hello Steemians!

I'm sure that you will crave for this certainly interesting topic about food. Today, let's talk about the one of the most popular food here in the Philippines, which is the Mami Noodles. Mami noodles is made out of a wheat flour noodles, with a meat of either chicken, pork or beef, some vegetables like cabbage, fried garlic and spring onions on top, egg and of course some seasonings.

Umm.. The taste is really good! So Yummy!

It is served while it's hot, you can really smell its good aroma, while it lingers deep inside your nose, and each sip to its brought will give you a remarkable taste the juiciness of its meaty flavorings. The pots of the Mami noodles are continuously heated by fire, that's why the meat becomes more tender, while its brought maximized the flavor. The good thing about eating Mami, is you are the one who are going to add and mix your desired amount of seasonings, if you want it to make spicier then add more chili-powder or chili-oil or some pepper, if you want to make it saltier then add more fish sauce or soy-sauce, you want to have a kick of some sourness then add some calamansi. How it will going to taste, then it's up to you.

I always prepare for spicy one, with one piece of calamansi and a fish sauce. Of course, a chilled soft drink beside my bowl of Mami.

If you are here in the Philippines, I'm sure that you can see a Mami is being sold everywhere. The preparation is too easy and the recipes are inexpensive, hence it's easy to market for the locals and even some foreign who already tried tasting it. Yet its price is so cheap and reasonable, you can already buy some at 20 pesos or simply $0.40. Wow! That is amazingly affordable! But the quality of its taste will leave you a great remark.

For me, the best time to eat this Mami is for breakfast, for evening, when you have a hangover from the alcohol last night and especially during cold or rainy season. Mami is a great aid for your growling hungry tummy and a big appetite in eating, since it is can be considered also as a heavy meal, then it will surely leave you a full and a happy stomach.

I can compare this Mami Noodles as being a Filipino, it is simple as how we live, nutritious as how we engage with others, hot as how we are eager to face challenges in our life, heavy as how we honor a dept of gratitude, and of course tasty as how we show our love to other people.
