This delicious, spicy and refreshing hummus is the perfect crowd pleaser! Inspired by our favorite restaurant, True Food Kitchen, you can serve this hummus with fresh pita or fresh veggies.

Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 6-8

Cost: $4.50

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons tahini
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 chopped chili pepper (optional)
1/2 large lemon
1 1/4 cup chickpeas
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons of cumin
salt
pepper

Steps:

  1. Blend tahini, inced garlic, salt and pepper to taste, chopped cilantro, chopped chili pepper, juice of half a large lemon and chickpeas until smooth

  2. Add in olive oil & cumin. Blend until smooth and serve.
