Traditional Aceh Traditional Cake (Meuseukat)
Steemit's friend tonight I will share one of Aceh's typical Acehnese cakes, Meuseukat, which is part of the Aceh tradition.
The uniqueness of meuseukat and dodol nanas is located in a pretty ornate appearance. If you come to a big event in Aceh, there is a large, luscious shaped cake.
The color is ivory rather yellow, while the texture is smooth and supple like dodol and a sense of pleasure.
But unlike the usual form of dodol, this dish is given carvings that make it more attractive.
Dodol named meuseukat is made from a mixture of wheat flour, sugar and butter, its characteristic lies in the use of pineapple which is grated and then filtered.
So often gets the nickname dodol pineapple. Like dodol, meuseukat has a sweet sweet taste.
