Only available this July, the Bacon Taco is less Mexican and more southern style American artery clogging glory.
Made from a streaky bacon weave it is stuffed with with slow cooked pulled pork, mac and cheese, BBQ sauce, jalapenos, salsa and cheese sauce to create a stomach stuffing experience unlike any other in Melbourne.
Third Wave Cafe is a trendy Melbourne cafe by day, but when the sun goes down it turns into something darker; "a bustling BBQ joint, inspired by the classic American smoke houses of the deep south"
If you're in Melbourne this winter, I'd say it's worth a trip to get one while they last! They also do a bacon milkshake which can only add to the glory.
