Hello my Steemit friends,

We had a close family gathering today to celebrate an important family event. It was a short notice no time to prepare. We made use of what available resources we have but managed to cook these food with my sister

This is a pasta recipe my sister learned online. No tomato base look at the brownish color.

Those who are looking for rice we prepared this fried rice and the chicken dish below.

This is my favourite I love the barbecue flavour and the dip which is tamarind base I think. These are not my recipe that is why I kept guessing. They are all delicious though maybe I'll ask my sister to send me the recipe.

Eating together has been our family thing especially when there was no pandemic and it is easier to gather around. We've been missing this bonding moment hope everything will be back to normal soon.
