Anmitsu is a Japanese traditional dessert that started in Meiji era, made with agar jelly those are the green and pink ones that you see in the photo. Other ingredients are red bean and different variety of fruits. Any kinds of fruits can go with anmitsu. And of course, the macha ice cream to add a more refreshing feeling when you eat it.
Anmistu isn't complete without the black
sugar syrup which is called kuromitsu sauce.
Surely, this dessert is a must try in Japan. It is not difficult to find it. It's almost in every restaurant and coffee shops in Japan.
