The Dheradun Egg … What Is It And Where Did It Come From?

While in India, every time we traveled between the city where we lived, we would ride the overnight train to Delhi, the Dheradun Express. Whenever we traveled our cook would give us a bag of snacks ... things to eat. These snacks would usually include a couple of eggs - hard boiled, deep fried, and salted and peppered.
