This rice dish is usually found wrapped in banana leaf accompanied with fried anchovies, peanuts, boiled egg and a few slices of cucumber with a generous dollop of spicy sambal (chilli paste).
What makes a good and tasty Nasi Lemak? The secret lies in the way the fragrant rice is cooked as well as the sambal’s level of spiciness. Nasi Lemak is also very versatile and heavy eaters may want to eat it with other dishes such as chicken curry, rendang curry, sambal kerrang (cockles) or sambal sotong (cuttlefish), etc.

Thanks for the featured write ups @yasminep ! Pretty much you can find everywhere on Satay; but for poppiah they are more common on the North side of Peninsular if you are looking for traditional ones.
These days the poppiah has many faces, diverse and with each added different display based on different ethnic culture.
Definitely will try to take some different poppiahs during the Ramadan.
How are you getting along in London? KL is now having regular summer storms and showers.
