Premier League: With Lambert on the bench (Saturday 1/20/18) Betting Preview
Source
Brighton-Chelsea
Brighton: Being 3 points away from relegation zone, they won only one time in last 12 matches. They lost fairly from West Brom and they count 6 away fixtures without goal.
Chelsea: Playing with a lot of changes against Norwich in cup, they played well but a late equalizer shocked them (1-1). Their quilification was signed in penalties. Morata and Pedro will miss the match but Fabregas and Cahill will be available
Verdict: If Chelsea played against a more attacking opponent it would have great bets. But is difficult for Brighton to score and the Blues are clearly tired. N/G at 1.60 is the only bet that counts.
Arsenal-Crystal Palace
Arsenal: The gunners seem to be cursed. Serious playing problems counting 1 win in last 5 matches and Sanchez is ready to move out. They also lost from Bournemouth even if they scored first. Monreal, Ozil and Koscielny is possible to be ready for the match
Crystal Palace: Even they had serious rotation due to problems, they won Burnley 1-0 having only 1 defeat in last 12 matches. Loftus-Cheek will be ready in opposition to Townsend, Schlupp, Dann, Sakho and Puncheon
Verdict: Gunners are very affected from the coming divorce with Sanchez and they don't play well recently. Crystal Palace scores a lot and if they didn't had so many players left outside X2 would be a standar at 2.50
West Ham-Bournemouth
West Ham:They passed from Shrewsbury with 1-0 in the cup. Hart saved them at 0-0 saving a tet-a-tet. Despite not playing well they are 6 matches unbeatable. Carroll, Chicharito and Reid will be tested to see if they are ready. Antonio and Fonte will miss it
Bournemouth: They had no interest in the cup match against Wigan, they changed a lot and they lost 3-0. Despite this fact they have good momentum in league. Stanislas and King will possibly miss the match. Defoe surely will
Verdict:They both have bad defense and good attack so OVER at 1.75 seems good choice
Everton-West Brom
Everton: They were exterminated from Spurs in London last week losing 4-0. 3 deafeats and 2 draws at last 5 matches. They try to strenthen their attack and after Tosun they got Wallcot from Arsenal. Keane won't be ready
West Brom: Their first win with Pardew on the bench. Also their first win after 20 matches. 2-0 against Brighton with two defenders scoring. Morrison and Chadli will be out.
Verdict: It's a clearly a NO BET match as Everton is in a bad form and West Brom is building a momentum. I see
Everton as a winner.
Leicester-Watford
Leicester: They had careful rotation in the cup against Fleetwood and they won 2-0. Also, they feel that 0-0 against Chelsea is not fair. Chillwell and Simpson will be ready
Watford: Counting 1 win in last 10 matches, they should be greatful they get the point against Southampton. They were losing 2-0, they equalized at 90' with a handball. There are doubts about Hughes, Britos, Kaboul condition. Kiko and Cleverly won't be ready
Verdict: Leicester has 2.87 goals average and Watford 3.26. Watford especially is rare not to score in away fixtures. OVER 3.5 at 2.60
Burnley-Man Utd
Burnley: They are stucked in 7th position even if they haven't won in last 6 matches and they lost from Crystal Palace in last fixture (1-0). Wood, Ward and Arfield may come back. Brady will miss the match
Man Utd: Red devils cleared the match against Stoke from first half winning 3-0 with Pogba being on exceptional form being 12 points from the top. Alexis Sanchez is expected to be tranfered. Young will be available, Zlatan and Bailly won't
Verdict: They were both affected by the X-mas and they recovering slowly. So 2-3 GOALS 1.70 as I don't see a lot of goals
Stoke-Huddersfield
Stoke: Hughes is past and Lambert has a lot work to do, especially in defend. Shawcross and Pieters have great possibilities to play
Huddersfield: It's not their best period. They didn't played well against West Ham (1-4) receiving 3 goals in 15 minutes. There are doubts if Craine, Lowe and Quaner will be ready
Verdict: A debut cannot reverse the bad defending of Stoke. It's is mostly unlikely not to score both of them (G/G) and it pays well 1.85
Man City-Newcastle
Man City: Even if they lost, they showed how great team they are. In their worst day of the season, playing in the hottest ground against Liverpool they almost came back from 4-1 (4-3 and a great chance in 94'). Jesus, Delph and Kompany will miss the match
Newcastle: The draw with Swansea (1-1) should be satisfying for them as Swansea were better. Nevertheless they won last 2 away fixtures. Lejeune and Gayle will be left outside. Mitrovic and Mbemba should return
Verdict: Bets don't pay well in this one and Man City can't lose this one. NO BET is the only choice
