David Moyes can't forget Jesse Lingard yet.
West Ham United coach David Moyes admits he and the club's management are still interested in bringing back Jesse Lingard, should the midfielder choose to leave Manchester United.
Quoting Sky Sports, Moyes said he would try to get Lingard in a West Ham shirt again if he had the opportunity.
"If the opportunity arose for us to get Jesse, we would be interested, but I think he is at Manchester United and we don't need to talk about that," said Moyes.
Moyes admits he is very happy to have a player like Lingard in his team.
"We really enjoy having Jesse, but Jesse is a Manchester United player. The question is not for me, the question is for Manchester United," said Moyes.
On the other hand, Moyes hopes West Ham will still bring in new players before the transfer window closes.
This needs to be done so that West Ham can add strength because at this time The Hammers will also compete in European competitions.
"We are trying our best and we are trying to add some players and give us some options," said Moyes.
