Today Kekoa FC (my Football academy) had another three fixtures that we played and as usual it was very eventful.

We had two games that had the same time kick off U8s and U10s at 12pm then we had our U9s who had a 1pm Kick off.

Our U8s who had an 100% league record we’re up against Ryan FC.

Our U9s were up against London Soccer Stars

Our U10s were playing Redbridge FC

U8s

This proved to be the game were the 100% record of the U8s was to go. Ryan FC were a very good team and even though we didn’t play our best, we were beaten by the better team in the day and eventually went down 6-1 which wasn’t a fair reflection of the game, as they wasn’t 5 goals better than us.

U9s

Our U9s played a real gam of two half’s as we started very slow and sluggish, which may have been due to some of the players having to play for our U10s as they had 4 players missing this week. We were losing at half time 1-0, but after a good teamtalk and some changes we had an excellent second half and turned things around by winning 2-1.

10s

Having had four players pull out of the game due to illness their had to be a reshuffle of the team and tactics with some U9s being brought in to make up a stronger squad. Our U10s produced the performance of the day by winning 2-0 and playing some excellent football.
