European Championships Betting Challenge Day 1 Bets

To celebrate the new Sports Book on Wink.org I thought I show some support by trying a betting challenge purely for fun!

The opening game is tomorrow and features Turkey v Italy.

I know Italy are big favourites for this game but I think it will be a tough game and Turkey have had some good results so I am going to go with the draw and the correct result 1-1. Opening games tend to be cagey affairs and both sides won't want to lose. The last two encounters between these sides resulted in 1-1 draws and there has only been the odd goal separating the sides in their last 4 matches. Though that takes us back to 1973!

Italy have been in tremendous form though, 4-0 and 7-0 thrashings, though one of those was against the part timers San Marino. Turkey remain unbeaten for 6 games, two notable wins include the 4-2 win against the Dutch and a 3-0 win against Norway.

Italy do have home advantage in this one though I understand the number of fans will be limited, so I am hoping that the home advantage won't be as great in this scenario.

Those eagle eyed readers will have noted that I don't have enough funds to cover the last game but even with pure chance I should get at least 4 or 5 results correct which should cover the last game, failing that a reduction in stakes should get me over the line.
