Learning To Forgive

in #forgive7 years ago

A few days ago ... In one of the many readings that I tend to confront, I came across an image on my computer while I was researching ... I quote verbatim what it said: "It's good to forgive those people who hurt us, even if they never apologized to us, we can not have our hearts full of hate forever, we need to forgive, not because they deserve our forgiveness, but because we deserve peace. "
Certainly this phrase has something of reality in our daily life, since our time in this world may be temporary, without reaching a point of talking about beliefs, reincarnations or any other specific topic to this, because it has some validity in certain theme. How much is your peace worth? Does it depend on your core of friendships? Of "What will they say"?
These are consequences that at certain times we have to go through, and more at present where resentment and resentment apparently seem to want to be part of our daily life. I have known infinities of friendships that are in some way criticized for their human conditions ... Either because they think differently or have a badge in terms of relating to other people, life does not come with an instruction manual, somehow you have to Think differently despite all the people around us on our way.
Many times people think that the way they "live" their lives, so to speak, is the correct one, this world every day that passes sinks into decay and suffering, and with this I do not want to get to have a depressing article nor much less, I simply show a point of view that maybe many people do not take into account or refuse to make known.
Why has having the word "Forgiveness" in our extensive vocabulary been so difficult for us? Does it really weigh us that much? How much can your silence be worth for the mere fact of trying to do what is right for you, regardless of the consequences that this entails with the people you are communicating with?
