A guy who went to Australia for the very first time and took part in an event called Formula student.
Bur'raq 16 is our car name.
There was a point where people used to make fun of my passion, "you could never make one......" you are the driver ?? The world isn't very kind to those at the back. Any money we could find, it went straight back to our #Bur'raq 16, even our pocket money went straight back to our #Bur'raq 16.
In #FormulaStudent journey , you get invited to all the nice parties, but you can't enjoy the parties. You are always thinking about training the next day, you can't afford to have a wild night.
You never enjoy your success and your failure haunts you. But it is later on in life, after seeing what i went through in perspective, that i am able to appreciate the job that i did.
Being a member at teamdauburraq means constant training and work. Slack off for a bit and you will need a lot of energy to regain that momentum that rhythm you needed.
One more point: Racing is addicting. I would love to see a chemical analysis of a driver's brain while racing and compare that to someone playing the lottery or maybe even doing drugs. It may not be too dissimilar. Which is why the prospect of quitting is so hard to cope with.
