Insane picture of a megaldon tooth first exposing after millions of years
Every once and a while you get lucky. Walked up on this megalodon tooth as is was first exposing after millions of years in hiding. It's such a beautiful tooth
Here's when I fist saw it. Can you see the tooth in the clay boulder?
Closer look.
Not often you see them stuck to the side of a clay boulder like this.
Wow! It must be like going on a treasure hunt!
it can sure feel like it sometimes
Wow this is so cool! We just moved to good fossil country (Utah) and my kids are super into dinosaurs and other prehistoric critters, can't wait to take them out to some of the educational sites here. Megaladon is of course one of my boys' favorites, for obvious reasons.
This is an outstanding find. Off the coast of East Anglia in England mammoth teeth are sometimes found in the boulder clay. Once a skeleton was found preserved in a hill that was eroding into the sea! Their teeth are also brought up by trawlers in the north sea (once Doggerland). Truly magnificent find there! Makes me want to go out an do some fossil hunting for the first time in a while!
Would be nice to trawl up some mammoth teeth

WOW! It looks so good! Like it didn't have any flaws...
My brother loves fossils. He goes to 'hunt' them very often. He also collects some stones. I'm not so much into it but I understand why people like it. You are lucky to have found such a preserved one.
Thank you for sharing and have a good day!
The feeling of treasure hunt is good
