The TRUE Meaning of The 4th of July (What America Is Built On)
This may be a touchy subject for many true "patriots" in the United States of America, but lets be frank and historically accurate. As many of us know America's Independence Day celebrates the adoption and signing of the Declaration of Independence 241 years ago today on July 4, 1776. We are also familiar with the Americans no longer wanting to be a part of the British Empire. However, many people neglect the fact that those Americans were here on the British currency which we still use to this day. They took their money, boats, and other resources and fled away in hopes of starting their own civilization. Not only killed the very people who made it possible for them to cross the Atlantic Ocean but they also did it with no negotiation or respect for their real "founding fathers". But that was just the beginning of the disloyalty, lies, and manslaughter.
Sadly, too many don't understand that you can't create a civilization where there already is one! The pioneers wouldn't even have been able to survive in the newfound lands without the help of the Native American tribes. They only got the name Indians because the settlers actually thought that they were in India. They were quite lost. However, that didn't stop them from taking advantage of these native tribes and then committing genocide, virtually reducing their entire race by MILLIONS. As you can see in the map: there was no land that was not already discovered by humans in this part of the world.
Last, but certainly not least, is the pioneers buying and selling African slaves in order to build the country. These people were forced away from their own land and sent to work in America. Not only on plantations but in much of the entire American civilization and culture. As you can see in the photo, there are African people held against their will building The White House, the most important and historical structure in this entire country. If that doesn't illustrate how Africans build the country then I don't know what does. Also, many African people were exploited, raped, fed scraps (trash), and murdered during this time as well. Equality and humanity didn't exist.
These are not my opinions it is simply the history of the 4th of July. There is no reason to not enjoy time with family or gaze at fireworks but it is our responsibility to recognize what happened in order to build this country. So next time you show your American pride, ask yourself: What exactly are YOU proud of?

Word Up.
I agree.
Well written.
Respect.
Indians got murdered, and the Africans got kidnapped...
And that's just for starters, and compared to Hitler, we are some bad ass mofos, not to be trifled with I suspect!
Thank you! Hopefully we can learn from the past. Seems today its just a different method, same result: slavery
