Very nice to see how the elements were shared in the time across all Europe and even to the Middle East, despite having no access to a centralized database of defenses. These ideas were quickly integrated in a couple of hundreds of years in many other forts. It would have been nice to see how the ideas would spread and if most of them were viable or not.
