ADAM...
I loved the "Adam vs. The Man" series on youtube. I think you have a LOT of valuable things to say. I was pleased to hear that you were seeking the Libertarian Party nomination to run for President! I was on board until I read what your plan was, please correct me if I misunderstood or something. Didn't you say something like "My first act as President would be to write an Executive Order abolishing the entire Federal Government and (resign from office?)"
Now maybe that was over-simplified or I misunderstood, but there are STILL MAN Y PARTS of the Federal Government that are Constitutional, and therefore IMPOSSIBLE to Abolish with any executive order, or even any Law that Congress might pass??? If I misunderstood you, please correct me and set the record straight. This bloated Budget that was passed, and Trump signed, has P.O.'ed many of his supporters. Too much PORK. A Libertarian might do better in 2020 than ever before! We DON'T NEED Gary Johnson, again :P
I believe this should help with any confusion.
OK that does help a lot but I still see a roadblock, the Constitution is still in force and the executive orders are like simply a "how to" apply existing Federal Laws. Now when he talks of huge #'s of ppl supporting the overall concept, yes it would take that type of support to basically overcome it. 2024 is a more reasonable time frame to get "critical mass" but I do feel better about the whole thing. Still TONS of stuff to work out. ;) But he acknowledges that.
I look at it this way: At present, the damn LP can't even figure out how to organize electoral victory in a small village or city of 1,000 population. But with Trump selling out at such a rapid pace (what do they have on him from Epstein's pedo Island?), the time is ripe for LP-USA to make their move after being a haven for 47 years, promoting only professional masturDebators.
Could Kokesh convince 34% of the voters of the value of his "Split 50!" plan? no. Not going to enter that level of self-delusion. But, what about attaining 15% at the polls... enough to see him on the debate stage with the two dungPiles sent in from the Elephants and JackAsses? That is doable.... and trackable via blockchain which prevents rigging. I'd consider that quite a victory. Gotta see great value in that accomplishment, no?
It must be admitted that no country is exempt from breaking into rival factions that end up firing. Today it seems impossible for the United States to derive in that direction, but the Germans, before 1933, said that the strange Adolf Hitler would never win the favor of the electorate of the most cultured and powerful country in Europe. A few days before the beginning of the 1910 civil war, the New York Times praised the Mexican fortress achieved under the dictatorship of Porfirio Diaz. There are many examples.
However, although all these symptoms point to the almost total delegitimization of the system, I do not believe that the American political situation is worse today than in the past. The tension of the Kennedy era, the confrontation of young people with their successor Lyndon Johnson and the bitter period of Nixon, which culminated with his resignation from the presidency, seem to me as much or more serious than what is happening today.
The American republic, designed essentially by James Madison, with its checks and balances, has shown great strength and flexibility. When I recognized Riopedre, I wrote that, although the next American civil war was possible, I do not think it is likely. The foundations are very firm.
It seems the practice of oppression and robbery of the neighbors firmly entrenched in the everyday life of this country. That is the reason for their wealth and prosperity.
Love freedom. Every people and nation have the right to be freedom
" mondern slaves are in debt"
mate some citizen they don't even know where is America on the map or who is their president. is not easy to see change or freedom. and change can come only from the inside
Sad but true

Wars or political crises do not depend on the will of a few individuals.
Who would have the guns? The left certainly won't on any large scale. If there's a war it would be the state protecting the bankers against bank shootings once the bail ins are rolled out (if they are). Really not very likely that banks would start giving everyone a 20% haircut on the bank accounts until after the guns are confiscated. By then we won't be talking about guns in school or guns in church, but guns in banks.
How can you revolt against the banks when your money is in the same bank. Guns will not help in the case of bank closings. Just ask the people of Cyprus in 2013
90+ % of all cash is simply digits on a computer. I'm not saying that guns in banks "will help". I'm simply saying that it could become a phenomenon just like guns in school are now. Logic is not what you should be looking for here but what the emotional reaction will be when people find out they've been scammed on the FDIC after banks reopen.
Love freedom and all your posts Adam. Best of luck in your quest, smaller government is better government. I absolutely despise the spending at the federal and state level, it should be illegal to run a deficit.
It is a case of freeing people from themselves I believe. Americans make the federal government likewise the federal government are Americans.
Because people remember the past and learn from it.
