The older generation had made rules. The rules worked for them. It helped them and built them and made them better.
Why? Because the rules where put in place after understanding them. Which therefore made the rules work in their favour.

That was so long ago, those rules have become ancient and obsolete. Those rules don't apply anymore to the new generations.

Before now, they were told, go to school. Once you have the western education, life would be easier. It worked in the past.
But not now. Now we have graduates, thousands and thousands of graduates from prestigious universities with outstanding degrees and results that can barely make ends meet.

And if only the older generation can take a look away from their ancient lenses and look at the world of now. They would see that being educated does not involve books only but also creativity. They would see that the rules that were put in place for them does not apply to the new generation. They would see that change is the only one thing that is constant and change is what they must do.

Change from their bias and judgmental perspective. Escape from their limited view because of religion and whatever had bind them.

Realize that just because they prospered with their nose in the books does not make it the only way to achieve success.

The older generation should be a guide for the new generation, not the prison.
They are meant to mentor us not restrict us.

We were born free but why are our community our slave masters.

We drown deeper in despair and sorrow as we watch our freedom being taken away from us.
