Why Capitalism is doomed to fail - An Overview

in #freedom7 years ago

Intro

Many people believe the cold war about a struggle between good and evil systems. With capitalism being the good guy, when in reality it was a fight between two equally flawed systems. The winner would destroy the world, if communism had won then we would be living a Brazil movie like existence today.

The Corruption Of Capitalism

Corrupt

Many people know how communism was subverted in the early 21st centary by Stalin and his ilk, but few know about how capitalisms corruption.

It also started in the early 21st century, with figures like Edward Bernay who was a pioneer in the art of manipulation. He was the man who organized the smoking campaign that got woman smoking, he did this by paying woman to smoke in public. This caused other woman to start to smoke to as it was being portrayed as trendy. Tobacco companies were delighted by the doubling of their customer base.

People like Edward Bernay were involved in changing the old style of capitalism from the buy what you need to survive economy. It was changed to a buy shit you don't need economy and it was been a down hill journey from that point.

Marketing is not usually based on selling products that add value to a customers life but instead playing on emotions for easy money. Making people feel judged when they don't have a certain product and associating brands with emotions.

To see this for yourself I will tell you one simple technique from behavioral psychology, pairing.
When you show someone an object with an event happening just afterwards you will associate the two. Other methods include positive music, NLP, and the list goes on...

At some point people are so inundated with manipulation that free will disappears. I will talk about new technologies in the conclusion.

Sustainable?

Capitalism focuses on profit above all else, although some cost is excepted this is mainly in raw material cost. A capitalist entity wants as few costs as possible, which is why environmental pollution is such a problem.

It does not matter if you believe in man made climate change or not, tons of radioactive waste, oil spills and chemical leaks are not helping things. As a result of climate change heat waves are killing thousands and hurricanes are getting stronger.

If capitalism is not stopped we are not going to have much of the world left to inhabit. Linked to this is the constant requirement for growth. No system can exist unless it is in balance (equilibrium) and capitalism does not meet this standard. By continuous growth I mean of the system as a whole not individual countries.

Technological suppression is also a major issue, especially when it threatens main established economies. Electric cars existed for years, along with the nickel batteries to power them – but they were suppressed. Bonus – research when the first electric car was made.

Why So Long?

Why has capitalism not collapsed yet? Several reasons…

When the Soviet bloc collapsed many new markets were opened up to be exploited (think Russia in 90’s). In addition to that, communist countries became vulnerable and when they fell a new market was created.

New technology has improved the efficiency and profitability of capitalism. Look at how economies have changed to service based, essentially adding very little value or none at all.
The city of London is a good example of this, its essentially the worlds dirty money cleaning center.

Linked the the first point, more customers with needs. New market place = more customers who can be given credit.

Conclusion

So where does this leave us? Well capitalism will need to exploit space in order to survive it needs new markets, if this does not happen it will collapse. The lack of equilibrium is the main reason for this, look at the interest rates all over the world. Then look at debt as a percentage of GDP.

In the mean time new technology is being developed to control the population, look at my emotional and mind control posts for more information. Universal Basic Income (UBI) is an example of this. Its essentially a last gasp to keep people placid and give them something to lose.

The drive towards a cashless society is linked to the above along with the acquiring and manipulation of crypto currencies. One of the most frightening aspects to this is brain decoding technology, I watched the Davos meeting on this and was freaked out by it. I will talk more on that in another post as this is getting long.

Overall Capitalism will collapse and we must be prepared for this. If you really like my content consider a donation.

With all respect due to the time and effort you put into this article. I disagree with your opinion.

The reason SteemIt, a fringe crazy sounding idea by people who thought differently, is blooming is because of its capitalistic undertone.

It is corporations and communities having a baby that works.
The first one was a little crazy artist, now... it's your turn.

what are you going to make that's going to make the world a better place?

You can have competition without capitalism, the reason steemit works is because people are competing against themselves ultimately. One of the big problems is distinguishing between gains of internal and external competition. The best people are not competing against others, just simply trying to be better. Internal focus gives them the edge.

I am unsure about what the ideal political system is, but I do know it needs freedom and sustainable goals.

I for one, am not for UBI. I don't agree with it and have strong feelings for it.
The government is too controlling already.

I am curious as to your future article about DAVOS and the mind/brain decoding.
We all have heard the saying, "Big Brother is watching...", but lately with all the technology, no one can hide. We watched a TV show last season on CBS called Hunted... unless you are 100% off grid and hidden so far out, anyone can find you. Scary thought...

Hunted just shows you what is available to civilian law enforcement, theres a British version of hunted to. Think of what is available to intelligence agencies.

Capitalism is like bacteria in a pietre dish. It will grow and grow until the resources are gone and then die off . It only works under the illusion of continual growth and has no idea of sustainability. Interesting article. Thanks
