First, we would have to define what truely free actually means. In its extreme it cannot be achieved, I think, because your total freedom always means cutting into the freedom of others.
But granted, there is still a lot of room for improvement. But I'm not so optimistic about it, to be honest. At least in the near future it seems to go the other way,, rather.
Yeah, I believe that freedom in all honesty is the definition of the total deception that is actually perceived as freedom. For me, I would just like my basic freedoms such as, what we are entailed in a free and democratic society, that's not much to ask for really.
