obviously no taxes are better than any kind of taxes, but I'm curious how you feel about Gary Johnson's proposed "fairtax" system that removes all federal income taxes and instead replaces it with a federal sales tax on goods.
I'd rather pay nothing to the federal government wherever possible, but this seems better than having money taken out of all may paychecks and having to file every year
I think it is because it would be more difficult for the Government to hide where they send the funds. People can find out easier what has been bought and sold, with the sales tax, verse how people "disclose" how much they should owe.
