RE: You're neither 'pro-gun' or 'anti-gun'; only pro-freedom or anti-freedom
I don't own a gun but I don't agree with taking away guns from the people. While I know anti-gun activists have good intentions and want to stop senseless violence the way they trying to go about it isn't binary. Take away guns violence will stop.
All it says is that we're clearly can't trust ourselves to be responsible and be rational human beings with personal responsibility and basically be humane. Its saying we a bunch of children that need a higher power big daddy government to make decisions for us, to give up civil liberties to a higher power because we don't want to handle adversity
People need to realise that we've moved on from these archaic systems and need to take personal responsibility. We need to reduce the amount of government and their reach as we give away ground to this more and more of our rights will go along with it, free speech, basic necessities and more tyrannical laws that would be detrimental to the country and would take ages to reverse
Stop trying to give the government all your power! Well thats how i see it
