Just How Scary Is The State of Cyber Warfare In The World?

in #freedom7 years ago

Most of us may know what there is no security in the online world, but do we really know the full extent of the story?

There's a documentary on this topic involving how the US hacked into Iran to make their nuclear centrifuge's explode remotely, even though their nuclear facility was disconnected from the internet. I've linked the whole documentary if you're interested in watching it, but the sum of the story is they built code that is extremely complex and bug-free. I don't know if you realize how impossible it is to build a piece of code without any bugs in it. It's damn near impossible. Then they unleashed on the whole world due to Israel getting the code and making it too aggressive and that ended up with the anti-virus guys seeing this code and analyzing it for months.

They eventually found out that it was the US who wrote this, and it was for Iran. Currently, however the US is tapped into every single thing in Iran, from the power grid to the water filtration system, to the phone lines, and everything else. With the push of a button, they could cut out all electricity and communications and many many people would die. The even scarier part is that anything that the US can do to Iran, Iran, or China or Russia can do to the US.

Beware, citizens of the world. Shit is real.

Hope you enjoyed and got scared shitless.
