Women & Freedom

Women should wear whatever cloth that make them feel comfortable.

This world is such a double standard place, for instance, we can see how people wish to control what a woman should or shouldn't wear without asking if the woman wish to wear it.

Some people said burqa is the sign of oppression without asking what's the woman who wear it feels.

Freedom for women is to be able to wear whatever they wish to wear without being oppressed or afraid of being judged or attacked by the society, to be able to express themselves, to be able to be themselves.

I have met some women who decided to put on burqa because they feel saver and have more confidence when wearing it.

Anyway, this drawing is based on a girl who wish to put on burqa, but for some reasons she didn't wear it yet. To be honest this is my 1st time drawing a girl with burqa.

She asked me to make a comic about muslim woman, but I have no idea what to write, so I decided to post the drawing on steemit.

I really have no idea what kind of comic I should write, but I kinda like drawing a girl with burqa, because it's so easy 😅

Drawing process

I used ibis paint, and it's quite easy, since I just tracing a photo of a sister of mine 🤭
