RE: Adam Kokesh - Taxation is Theft Tour 2017 - New Haven, CT - September 2017
I believe a free market would be able to take care of the elderly, disabled and victims of tragedies in a more efficient manner than a government that does so by coercion.
When it comes to a new regime taking over... I believe that is something very difficult to avoid. A group of people will try their best to gain power over the masses, but I still believe that it's important to work towards eliminating such a thing.
If the government collapses so will the free market. Monopolies will be able to take hold and ruin anything for anyone that has any chance of competing in a free market.
I personally believe that most monopolies exist solely due to government subsidies.... Get rid of the flawed regulations and the free market can begin.
A free market will not take care of anyone but the person the free market benefits. I would like for you to show me statistics that anti monopoly regulations in the United States have created monopolies. What do you think would have happen if JP Morgan and Rockefeller were allowed to stay monopolized in a free unregulated market? A free market it only competitive if it is regulated to a degree.
If there was no government to help JP Morgan...

I agree that subsidies are ridiculous. Imagine though is the Rockefeller company had not been forced to dismantle? What would the oil industry in America let alone the world look like today. If JPMorgan was not forced to un-monopolize they would not need the 14 billion(which is atrocious) imagine what our financial institutions would be like today. My point is that without the regulations that are placed on companies stop them from setting the market standard. Imagine if Verizon or Time Warner took hold of the entire countries telecommunications network . We would be forced to pay for things that did not make sense if we wanted to use the service.
In a free market there would be MUCH MORE competition throughout industries than what we see today. If we weren't happy with Verizon service someone can create an alternative to suit the needs and wants of the market (without having to jump through hoops first)
However, I do agree that certain parts of taxation are theft and that the money we are taxed is used in completely wrong ways.
