What Is "Freedom"? Do We Get Any Of That Illusion? An Analysis Of The "Freedoms" We Are Denied!
Our freedoms are swiftly being eroded and the concept that we are free has become a farce!
The definition of freedom is (1): the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants, (2): the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. I don't see a lot of that around these days, well certainly not for the majority of humans.
I dreamt about this last night and I had to write a post about it. Lets look at our supposed freedoms and see what we have left.
The Right To Act, Speak Or Think As One Wants!
The rights to act and speak as we wish are something that the powers governing our world never want to give us. All over the world there are communities who are not allowed to act or speak as they wish. They risk imprisonment or death if they do. Is it much better in the west? A little, but not a whole lot better!
The right to act as one wishes peacefully have been denied us in so many ways:
- Mandatory vaccinations no matter the health risks or what the parents believe - Australia's No Jab No Play Policy
- No home schooling - Germany can take your children away, fine and imprison you if you homeschool your children
- The use of traditional plant healing medicines are mostly outlawed throughout the west although they have been shown to have amazing healing benefits and taken in an appropriate manner pose very little risks
- The dire penalties if you evade your taxes - nobody wants to pay these taxes they are a total scam
The right to speak as one wishes has been constantly under attack for so long:
- Part of the legal profession is solely devoted to squashing the truth - Weinstein and many others used libel suits to suppress the truth and then settle out of court
- PR, spin doctors and the media are all used to spin the truth and repress it
- The media self sensors itself to suppress horrendous truths - the Jimmy Savile case is just one horrendous example of a pedophile, necropheliac and sexual predator being allowed to run around the BBC for decades and nobody did anything about it
- Major human institutions like the catholic church have suppressed so much information about the abuses going on inside the church for centuries - so much has been proven true
- Fake News is just a euphemism for slandering anything that the globalists don't want in the public domain
Lets be fair here we still have the right to think as we want but that is being swiftly eroded through the brainwashing of our communities. The globalists would love to have a thought police and they are trying to build one.
The State Of Not Being Imprisoned Or Enslaved...
It is freely admitted that there is more slavery on our planet today than at any other point in the past. From a western perspective though do we live in a state of being free from imprisonment or slavery? Not really. The tentacles of slavery stretch across the globe and perhaps without realizing it you are contributing to it!
For the youth around the world a new device or piece of clothing may seem desirable. However what most of the youth fail to think about at the point of sale is the deplorable conditions many of these items were produced in. All over the world there is legitimized slavery. The factory workers are quite often literally slaves whose entire income is sucked back by the factories that large corporations outsource to.
There are two other important points to make, I have covered them before but it would be remiss of me not to mention them here. The rise of the private prison industry and global surveillance programs puts almost the entire population under some for of imprisonment. Either because places like the US have incarcerated millions for nonviolent crimes or through the constant monitoring and surveillance of everything you do and everywhere you go.
Are We Really Free?
They love to tell us we are free in the west but are we really? Sadly as the examples above show we are not!
At the end of WW1 people were asking why we needed passports - the great war was over right? What fools we are! In theory you don't need a passport to travel anywhere on the planet. Doesn't the planet belongs to all of us through birthright? No, you must get a passport from your government and they can simply refuse to give you one. Try traveling without a passport - you won't get very far and may even wind up in prison.
Freedom is touted as the main plank of the west's manifesto however we see so little of it left. In western countries what freedoms there were are being quickly eroded. Outside the west the people of so many countries have to suffer bombs raining down on them, their houses destroyed and children murdered having committed no crime themselves. They were just in the way of the globalist's agenda for resource grabbing.
America: "Land of the free and home of the brave" really sums this up for me. Americans are not free and what little freedoms they have left are coveted by the globalists. Bravery? There is no honor or bravery in paying taxes to fund the bombing of impoverished innocents from the air.
People are waking up. We live in an interesting time to be alive and as our freedoms are eroded away we are beginning to push back. I think fostering community discussions on what freedom means and how to achieve it will always be beneficial for us.
I believe in genuine freedom for all!
I leave you with the priceless words of Bill Hicks: "You are free to do as we tell you!" 😡

Every code and statute that is on the books as "law" restricts your freedom. There are so many of those in the USA that an exact number can't even be counted, so you are exactly correct, freedom doesn't exist in reality it is only an imaginary thing.
All over the world buddy! Law is a tool for the rich to use against the poor.
😢
I ditched my law practice for freedom -- but not in this light. But this got me thinking. Many things I can't say here in public :(
I have worked with law for many years buddy. I have seen a lot too. I find I can talk about things but I don't use names or places. Corruption is the same everywhere. It's a human thing, but then again so is the quest for freedom! If you write some personal legal stories please let me know! 😃
So many laws that the the average person in America commits 3 felonies a day without even knowing it.
The government uses “enhanced sentencing” to magnify charges and keep nonviolent people in jail for decades when there’s no victim to the “crime.”
It would not surprise me one bit if your number of three was correct. The prisons are a for "profit" business and they make more money by keeping them at capacity or damn near capacity. People don't realize either just how many people are in prison that never did commit a crime.
Prosecutors file charges all the time so that they can scare people with lengthy potential sentences and that get them to plead guilty to a "lessor" offense with a shorter sentence where they will be out in a year or two, where as if they went to trial and got convicted of the higher charges they would be facing 15 to 20 years behind bars.
Couple that with those people have probably been sitting in the county jail for 4 or 6 months because they can't make bail, so the reality is that counts as "prison" time and they spend 8 more months in the state run prison before they can get out.
People have this happen all the time, most would rather give up two years than gamble on losing twenty, even though they didn't do a damn thing wrong.
It is sickening the things that go on in "the justice" system.
One of the things touted about a European Union was a united Europe with open borders where you wouldn't need a passport to travel around. As you can probably guess, this never happened. The EU brought all the restrictions, but none of the promised freedoms.
Talking of passports, I was seeing some family members off to England from here in Australia and they had to show their passports at check in. Used to be you only needed it at the other end, but now it seems you can't even leave without one. How much longer before we struggle to leave the country like they did in the USSR?
I didn't realize you were in Oz mate. I have been a farmer for years in Australia and I also lived a lot around the EU... I watched that unification process first hand. Yes, you definitely need to show your passport when you are leaving the Australia.
Things are even more hardcore in places like Bali where you need to show your passport to even get into the check-in zone. They are worried about bombs.
I was recently on a flight that stopped but only transited in Australia. We never left the airport or went through immigration or customs. However they tried to make me go through the body scanner - which I stoutly refused. However on the same route back up to Asia a young Indian man was not allowed to board the plane because he did not have a "transit visa" for Australia. He was never going to leave the airport, go through immigration or customs. He was only going to switch planes within the airport but needed a visa for that! Outrageous.
The poor guy was only young and going home to India for his sister's wedding. I waved goodby to him at immigration. I'm sure he sorted it somehow.
It won't be long before we'll have to carry and produce ID on demand.
Freedom has always been my biggest ideal; but I've always also asked: can anyone really be free? Seriously, I've been asking that question for years!
Though freedom without limitations will definitely be abused -- we'd trample on each other's rights -- but the extra and unnecessary limitations we humans impose on ourselves out of selfishness is the sad part of the whole concept. Everybody wants to be better than the other in every way possible, and we'd do anything to achieve that -- including a few people building a whole system that enslaves the masses without choice.
Freedom is a topic I love discussing, and I definitely love the idea of
I don't mind being tagged wherever such discussions are happening.
Cheers to freedom, someday!
Liberty and personal ownership is the most important thing in this life.
