Why Being A Product Owner May Be The Best Financial Decision That You Ever Make Online!

in #freedom7 years ago

In this video I talk about the importance of being a product owner versus being an affiliate or someone that only participates in online programs.

I have for the most part always been a person that doesn't like giving up control as you lose leverage, but when you are the owner of a product or service you dictate the rules of the game.

Watch this video if you want to learn how I went from a participant to an owner of my own products in a very short period of time.

Good job. It sounds like we're on the same path. I've been creating software since 1980 starting out in the game industry and then business apps including writing and then licensing QuickPay for Quicken to Intuit. Over 70 titles in total.

My #1 program is one that I created in 1999 that works with eBay and I'm still selling and supporting today.

Creating programs and tools that help people in popular platforms has worked out very well for the both of us it seems.

@mikehere congrats on your success as well. Creating products for me is something that I enjoy doing and rewarding as well as we both know very profitable.

I have been watching your videos on You tube and I am happy to see that you are here as well. You are so right - I need to figure out what is good for me to be a product owner. Being in affiliate programs give so much insecurity. I know that many are scams and I love your videos. However I must say that it is so tempting when I see/hear of people making so much money. However at the start they work - we have to wait and see how they all end. Thanks for your video and insights. Follow and upvoted

@momogrow I appreciate you upvoting my content and watching my videos as I only speak about what I know to be true based on my own experiences. I too was once in the HYIP space and I had a lot of up's and down's. I got tired of the roller coaster ride and decide to start doing my own thing. It was the best decision that I have made. Product owners will usually make more money than affiliates unless that affiliate is above average or an except to the rule.

@mrwalt - thanks for responding. I need to be confident and explore this possibility. Will continue to follow u - thanks for the ideas and inspiration.

@momogrow I appreciate your feedback and I know if you get started you will have success if you take action.

I got your point. The all we need whether we are affiliated to something or we are product owner, we need traffic and then convert them to our customers.

@rocksg you are correct as traffic is the lifeblood of any business and without it there is no business.

Looking forward to watching, but my first thought is, "But Mr Walt, I don't know how to write software! It's one thing to be a product owner if you are a developer (or cabinet maker or whatever), but what if you don't know how to write code?"

I'm a marketer and I find affiliate marketing a key thing in my life to earn some good money. However, I know my options regarding products. Putting a course on YouTube or Udemy or some other such websites and creating a PDF and giving it for free to whosoever subscribes are some other examples of creating a product. If you don't have money to bring your tangible product to life, crowdfunding is the way out. Good luck! Upvoted and resteemed!

Thank you! I'll have to decide what I think I have to teach people.

@clemdane there are many things that you can do online that do not require you to know anything about software or coding. In the video I discuss some different things that you can do to create your own product or course.

Thanks, I've watched now! Very inspiring.

@clemdane I glad that you have been watching and I appreciate that very much. I'm nothing special as I just sharing my story and it is possible for others to easily duplicate based on stuff that they already know.

@mrwalt, a very successful business man and a computer geek. In this technological age the world is your oyster. You have certainly taken to heart the words of Robert Kiyosaki in "Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Congrats.

@marcusxman I'm just trying to do all of the right things when it comes to this online space as it constantly continues to change and if you want to remain in profit you have to go where the money is.

Yes being a product owner has so many advantages rather than just being an affiliate!

@awarenessraiser I agree 100% and the main that it offers you is complete control whereas an affiliate has limited control.

that is so true

@allucky111 it has definitely changed my life and I think that this is possible for anyone that wants the same.

But why there is so many affiliate progmams that people do success, because some of techniques in affiliate is you give a increase to a particular product even if you have already percent on product, right or wrong ??
Nice post

@lordmp27 remember the key with anything online is traffic, so no regardless if you are promoting your own product or someone else's product you need to drive traffic to it in order to make sales.

Thanks for the knowledge !! More power to you

@lordmp27 glad that this could help you in some way and thank you for your support.

Knowledge is Power!!
Blessings to you!!

@kingdomman you are indeed correct that knowledge is power, but more importantly applied knowledge is even better. Thank you for your support.
