While I don't think an economic contraction at the magnitude of the 08 crash well occur, I think a recession of sorts of very likely. The question is, will a recession cause people to liquidate their crypto assets to pay for day to day expense? Or will crypto be a safe haven against weakening fiat? I'd say the former. Stick with precious metals for now.
