We need to understand now that Christ is not about eating a Turkey. Christ is about compassion, wisdom, balance and peace - among other related things. Please take 20 minutes to watch this brief video I recorded in response to watching the documentary 'Dominion'. It is one of the most valuable ever made.
Over the last 10+ years I have heard pretty much every argument for and against the meat industry. I stand 100% certain that there is no valid justification for such evil exploitation of living beings, period. Setting aside issues of health and the science behind them - I challenge you here to listen and watch the following material and to not have a change of heart if you are involved with animal exploitation in your life and food choices.
I know that most people consider themselves to be 'animal lovers' and yet have no knowledge of their hypocrisy and denial when they eat meat. The following material makes this clear.
I challenge you to watch the following documentaries and still stand by the position that meat and dairy industries are not heavily involved with pure evil and psychopathy.

That's right Christmas is not about eating turkey honestly for me Christmas isn't even about presents, it's literally about spending time with family, a holiday from the stresses of life, and of course putting up decorations. It's actually interesting if you reverse what you see in the markets and imagine it to be humans it's actually so disgusting what humans do to animals yet for some reason we see it as normal because its not human.. I appreciate you putting this out there @ura-soul we are already going in the right direction by many going vegan we just need people to generally eat less meat to start punching holes in the industry, well it would be a good start. I don't understand how not only can people do such evil to animals but not see this filth happening we must continue fighting these sick evil places.
It really goes back to the Law of Correspondence. How we treat other beings is how we ourselves will be treated. We do not "own" these beings, they own themselves and have no right to use them or eat them. They obviously do not consent to our behavior to farm them and eat them.
I agree with you 100%, it makes no sense to me either. This culture of dominance has been really twisted how people see things and gives them excuses to get away with the lifestyles they have and the choices they make. And yes there is no humane way to kill a being that wishes to live, well said.
I am confident that many people will change their minds after watching these documentaries - the challenge is to get them to watch them!
And besides.. a good nut roast is absolutely delicious!

i will watch next year....i already ent shopping. not to mention that funny tofu turkey. i come from a family of farmers...we eat meat. grandma said. but with commercial farming...i agree its a new ball game.
the holiday is so commercial too...lol
