Digiwage (WAGE) - Decentralized Freelance Workplace
As a Freelancer myself, I was always looking for one
good platform that would attract large number of clients,
provide good work opportunities, fair reward distribution
and fast payments without too much of a hastle.
All of centralised platfoms have some big issues and problems,
and often times we can see unhappy clients and customers.
All that changed after invention of Bitcoin,
cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
Connecting this revolutionary technology with freelancing platform
is certainly a great idea with huge potential.
Today I will review one interesting coin,
still under the radar for most of the people.
Digiwage (WAGE)
Digiwage is decentralised workplace hub for freelancers,
developers, entrepreneurs, block-chain enthusiasts, startups,
and place where people can start a new projects or find work.
Digiwage coin will be used in exchange for all provided services.
It is a Proof-if-Stake coin with Bitcoin heart,
continuing the work of Dash and Pivx developers.
Proper credits are provided in official github page:
https://github.com/digiwage/digiwage
Digiwage also has a network of Masternodes
that helps securing the network while providing
good income for respective masternode holders.
At the moment of writing this article, amazing facts is
that Digiwage network contains over 1000 active masternodes,
with over 12,900,000 WAGE coins locked.
Anyone with 12000 coins and VPS can join the network
and earn passive income.
Who are Digiwage developers ?
Digiwage team at the moment has 12 members,
and 7 of them have degrees in science and computing fields,
with many years of experience in crypto.
They also plan to grow and expand it even more.
After talking with them, I found out that they are
working hard on all fields, total redesign of website,
updating whitepaper, new wallets and exchanges,
Payment Processor, Digiwage Exchange and more…
Final release of Digiwage platform is planned for August 2018.
New version of mobile wallet is also released:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digiwagewallet
The foundation of Digiwage is centered around
the Digiwage marketplace,
a location for anyone to bring their talents
and transact them on the platform.
Digiwage is open to all people and
businesses around the world, connecting
them in one place, and providing security
and decentralisation of blockchain technology.
You can simply create new account, and explore website and features.
I would like to see easy to find -feedback- section, so that users
can contribute and send suggestions for improvement,
as well as -fee- section, and maybe also -Live chat- help in future.
Digiwage is also building an exchange to support any cryptocurrency.
This exchange will enable marketplace users to accept and send payments
in any cryptocurrency, through Digiwage. Main currency will be WAGE,
but others can also be requested.
I don't know yet if Digiwage exchange will be decentralised or not,
but having WageDЕХ оr something similar would be cool.
Maybe also DigiWage Payment Cards ?
Question I have:
Can Digiwage become preferred place for freelancers,
entrepreneurs, and larger institutions ?There is certainly a place for Digiwage in this space,
but competition is strong, and only with community support,
good marketing and dedication from developers
we can see significant growth in value and users.
Verdict
This is one of the projects I will watch closely for sure,
as I see potential here, and I like the idea of creating
Digiwage Marketplace/Exchange,
and I see activity in every field, from marketing to developing.
