TECH#2 Making my very first Fiverr Order
Hello Steemians!
I had always heard about Fiverr as the cheapest place to get your things done by freelancers, today I felt like I should give it a try.
I needed a logo for my shop which sells gaming gears. Hence, I signed up at fiverr.com and navigated to the LOGO Design page which had three steps to help find the freelancer I needed. The steps were:
- Choose the design type
- Choose your budget
- Delivery date
As I went through top seller's profiles, I choose a freelancer.
Not only the rating on his profile but his designs were convincing enough for me to place my very first order on Fiverr. His Basic Logo Design had "2 Basic Logos + Standard High-Quality Mock-up - Excluding Complex and Mascot Logos" which would cost $5 but as I needed the vector file of the logo as well, I requested the vector file with an addition of $10.
Fiverr has an advance payment requirement for orders, I had to pay $15. Being bit unsure if I should pay $15, I googled "Fiverr promo codes". I landed on retailmenot there were many promo-codes tried 3-4 codes out of which a "20% off first order" actually worked.
Made the payment of $13 with PayPal.
After making the payment, I was provided with a detailed form which asked for industry type and the following things:
- Company/Service Name:
- Tagline/Slogan (Optional):
- Brief Overview of your company:
- Website URL:
- Color preferences:
- Your Ideas (Highly IMP):
- Logos/Examples which inspires you:
For me, the logo that inspired me was this one.

Now, as the placement of the order was complete. I am waiting for the delivery of the logo which is estimated to be on 6th of August, 2017.
As the order has been placed and has 2 revisions that can be requested, It would be my pleasure to seek suggestion from the steem community. I will be posting more about the logo after delivery.
Signing off,
