Busyness- Most Commonly Used Excuse

Being "busy" has to be the most common excuse used when people don't wanna do something. Yeah its legit, but temporarily. In reality whose busy 12 hours constantly doing a necessary task for 30 days a month. We make time for what we want and need, Greatest to Least right? Priorities are a choice not forcibly assigned, our schedules are made by ourselves but we complain like its others who plan our use of time.
So when friends say they care, "I'm here for you", but don't even use 5 seconds to message, "hope your doing well" for months. When they are there for me only because i ask them to be, so they feel like they got to be not because that they want to be. So they act like they want to be because that's how friends should be.
Which is fine, as long as your genuine and honest, open and real from the beginning. We are so full of excuses, our fear of responsibility is so childish when expressed through redundant excuses over long periods of time. Unless its insecurity driving people to manipulate others to keep a good image.
Since when did honesty become so looked down upon? Lol you can be busy with anything, busy breathing, busy doing nothing, but if your too busy to be my friend then I need to stop being busy missing you. How can I feel cared about or loved when friends can forget or get so busy....
