I am sure somebody sticking the tubes down the nose and mouth is not a pleasant experience by any means, but your boy is champ. And, he can get through anything. :)
Glad he did not need to send anything to the lab this time. And, running nose can be little irritating but if you look at and know it is just your body protecting itself it takes another meaning. Get it out of there MY BODY. hehe :)

Oh yes I tried once to challenge myself to put the tube in my nose just to try to understand how my son feels. But I chicken out. Too scared.
Yes that is one way our body traps the germs using the mucous. Am teaching him how to blow nose now but he still could not.
