Part3:The dramatic twist - the conflict
the mark on the door
The rooster will return at 5 in the morning. It was time to do something ...
We were there as detainees in time without knowing what to do, our persecutors were close and there crouched in that tunnel distressed by what had happened that night.
Everything had happened very fast to be at that farewell party suddenly that thunder broke out and everyone fled as soon as the police would show up.
Until that moment the party had gone by without incident and joy overflowed the place. We were tired of the dictatorship and we needed that moment of relaxation.
But now everything had changed and the anguish had returned. Beside me there were two companions, a boy and a girl.
Water. Drip, Drip. Drip. She was losing her mind slowly.
We did not know how to reassure her since the dogs were close and could get to where we were.
A few light rays of the moon gave the tunnel a dark aspect, she began to tremble and the boy hugged her to calm her down.
Meanwhile I was attentive to what was happening outside.
In that my mind began to ramble thinking when the previous afternoon we were preparing to go to the party. We did not think that everything could be a trap to gather the opponents of the government.
Then remember:
the mark on the door
what Peter had done, with the warning that the day a party was being held in the town we would have a hard time.
He had recently emigrated to another country because he wanted to escape from this situation of poverty.
On the other hand, we were always optimistic that everything would change, so we decided to keep fighting so as not to lose our things.
And now seeing ourselves in this situation of anguish, we did not know how everything would end.
Soon we would sing the rooster and at dawn they could find us, we only had the option of staying in that tunnel until it was noon and they were tired of searching.
Then we would be free.
The end.
